I was born on 1st of May, 1937 in Tatabánya (Western Hungary)
1946  Beginning of my studies in the local music school, at first piano, and then clarinet.
1951  I followed my studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Budapest.
1956  I was engaged as a soloclarinetist at the Hungarian State Opera House and the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra.
1975  I was invited as clarinet professor at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Budapest.
1989  I won the clarinet professor status at the University of Music in Graz, later on I was awarder the title of Professor Emeritus.
2004  Invitation as visiting professor of clarinet at the Conservatorio di Musica in Udine.
2009. Professor Emeritus title at the Franz Liszt Academy of Musik Budapest.
2011. Honorary Membership award from International Clarinet Association (ICA)

   Due to my profession I have been to numerous countries, cities, concert halls and studios in the world. While on concert
tours as a soloist and also a member of different chamber ensembles or participating in the work of musical juries, I had the opportunuty to meet many of the most outstanding artists in Hungary and abroad. We not only performed together but became lifelong friends, too.
   Being a performing artist as well as a teacher, I regard Bartók's teachings "only from pure source" to be my most important guiding principle.
   My hobbies are playing the piano, composing music, light music, jazz, surfing on the internet, sporting events besides my
love and admiration for nature.
